Action 1: Acquisition of plug-in electric and fuel cell vehicles.

The acquisition may be direct or through financing operations by financial leasing or leasing by renting (also called operating leasing) of new vehicles, registered for the first time in Spain in the name of the ultimate recipient of the aid, except in cases of renting in which the vehicle may be registered in the name of the renting company.

The vehicles eligible for incentives will be of categories M1 (passenger cars), N1 (vans), L3e, L4e, L5e (electric motorcycles) and L6e, L7e (electric quadricycles), and must be included in the IDAE’s Vehicle Database,

The purchase of electric and fuel cell vehicles of categories M1, N1, L3e, L4e and L5e and up to nine months old, counted from their first registration to the earliest of the following dates: date of the sales invoice or the date of registration of the application, will also be eligible. Ownership must be held by a dealer or sales outlet of the manufacturer/importer group that makes the sale of the vehicle to the ultimate recipient of the aid. In this case the vehicle must have been purchased by the dealer or point of sale as a new vehicle from the manufacturer or importer. A maximum of up to 30 “demo” vehicles from the European Union is established under the NextGenerationEU Fund, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, for the acquisition of “plug-in” electric and fuel cell vehicles within the Incentive Program for Efficient and Sustainable Mobility (MOVES III Vehicles Program of the Valencian Community) of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge through the IDAE, managed by the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE).
