The idea of Grand Siècle is based on an observation: nature will probably never give us the perfect oenological year, on the other hand, the art of blending can allow us to recreate it. Grand Siècle is not a vintage, it is numbered at each iteration and obeys the following four rules:

– Blend of a selection of 3 exceptional vintages: 2006, 2004, 2002.

– A selection of 11 Grands Crus from the only 17 existing in Champagne.

– Assembly consisting of a base year [el más joven] and 2 additional years.

– A majority of Chardonnay complemented with Pinot Noir and benefiting from a prolonged aging in cellars of more than 10 years.
