Marta Violet is made mainly with Muscat de Frontignon (70%) supplemented by the typical Penedès varieties, Xarel-lo and Macabeo, in a proportion of 15% each. The vineyards from which these grapes come from are scattered throughout the Penedès in low areas with soils poor in organic matter.
